VOICE DISORDERS
Voice disorders can be the result of a variety of vocal cord and respiratory anomalies including paralysis, muscle tension, polyps, nodules, or cancer. Common diagnoses often treated include strokes, Parkinson's, ALS, or laryngectomy. It is important that clients learn vocal hygiene techniques as well as appropriate strategies and exercises to improve their voice production and overall communication skills.
